Description
We know that Bambusa vulgaris must be one of the most common types of bamboo. You can find it growing all over and it is fairly easy to recognize. It is one of the more towering species of bamboo, often reaching more than 20 m in height, with dark green culms 4 - 10 cm in diameter. It has an open clumping habit, so it can spread relatively quickly, even though it’s not a runner.
